David Gilhawley brings almost 15 years of international experience across finance leadership, strategy consulting, and large-scale transformation in professional services environments.

David has a proven track record in shaping strategy, driving value creation, and embedding performance management to scale. He operates at the intersection of finance, strategy, and technology, turning strategic ambition into competitive advantage through strong governance, forward-looking steering, and the systematic use of automation and AI enabled decision making.

Before joining Chain IQ in 2023, David held senior roles in strategy consulting at Roland Berger and in financial services, working closely with executive teams on complex transformations, performance programs, growth initiatives, and M&A. He is known as a pragmatic and trusted business partner with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and focus on impact and execution.

David is a CFA charterholder and holds a master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Zurich. He is based in Switzerland, is married and has two children.
