INSPIRATIONAL MOUNTAINEER AND SPEAKER

Evelyne Binsack stands out as an extraordinary adventurer and influential speaker. Her profound journey from a sports enthusiast to becoming one of the first European women to qualify as a mountain guide in 1991 exemplifies her pioneering spirit. Evelyne was also the first Swiss woman to ascend Mount Everest and has mastered some of the world’s most formidable peaks, including the Eiger and the highest points in both the Himalayas and the Andes.

Her greatest adventure lasted 484 days from 2006 to 2008. It was a self-powered expedition from Switzerland to the South Pole, covering 25,000 kilometres across 16 countries, a testament to her indomitable will and endurance. Evelyne returned to Everest in 2013 to film the documentary ÜberLebensWille and continued to push boundaries with a recent expedition to the North Pole.

At our inaugural CPO Forum, Evelyne will share her inspiring journey and the invaluable lessons learned about motivation, risk management, and resilience. Her experiences offer profound insights into overcoming challenges and achieving the extraordinary, making her an exceptional fit for an event focused on strategic innovation and leadership in procurement.

We are privileged to have Evelyne Binsack share her story, encouraging us to reach new heights in both our professional and personal lives.
