Chain IQ appoints Girija Pande as Chairman for Asia Pacific

Mr. Girija Pande, former President of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Asia Pacific, joins global Swiss Sourcing & Procurement Leader

Singapore – July 5, 2022 — Chain IQ Group AG, a global leading independent indirect procurement service provider specialized in supply chain and procurement solutions, announced the appointment of Girija Pande as the Non-Executive Chairman of Chain IQ APAC Pte. Ltd. Mr. Pande joined Chain IQ in April 2020 as a senior advisor for the APAC region leveraging his extensive industry experience. Besides chairing Chain IQ’s APAC unit in Singapore Mr Pande will also chair the company’s global ESG Advisory Board.

This appointment underlines Chain IQ’s long-term strategic focus on creating significant value for
our clients by driving cost reductions, operational excellence and digitalization of procurement
function while ensuring sustainability as well as environmental, social and governmental
responsibility. ESG is a major focus of Chain IQ’s customers for whom the global ESG Advisory
Board is providing guidance and thought leadership.

Mr. Pande has over three decades of experience in senior positions in Banking and Financial
Services and served on multiple Boards of global technology & healthcare companies. He also
serves on the Advisory Board of a Global ESG Fund and on the High-Level Advisory Board of
Brussel’s based Digital Goes Green Foundation (supported by the European Union and the World
Economic Forum) working on sustainability issues of digitalization itself. Mr. Pande serves on
nonprofit boards in Singapore and has been a recipient of many Awards including the prestigious
Public Service Medal by the Government of Singapore. He has co-authored a book on building
business in China and India published by Wiley & Sons.
