Chain IQ has been classified as a “Major Contender” by Everest Group in its global Procurement Outsourcing BPO Service Provider Landscape 2019 assessment. The Everest Group PEAK MatrixTM is recognized as a leading research assessment considering broad supplier capabilities including Market Adoption, Portfolio Mix, Value Delivered to Clients, Vision and Strategy, Scope of Services, Innovation and Investments and Delivery Footprint.

Being named as a “Major Contender” is a significant achievement for Chain IQ, given it was the youngest firm participating in the evaluation, having just celebrated its fifth corporate anniversary. The company already maintains operational centers in 11 countries servicing its clients worldwide in more than 20 countries. Chain IQ is steadily expanding its footprint following an ambitious growth trajectory and emphasizing its commitment to continuously enhance its services and advance its technology landscape to meet its clients’ evolving needs.

Urs Dogwiler, Group Chief Executive Officer of Chain IQ said: “We are extremely delighted about the positive positioning, which proves that Chain IQ is continuously developing our market position into one of leadership and further reinforces our brand in the market. It is particularly gratifying that the recognition comes from Everest Group, given their standing in the market and the impeccable credibility this brings.”

The Everest Group assessment included both qualitative and quantitative evaluations as well as client reference calls. Chain IQ’s level of client satisfaction was rated almost 20% higher than its peer group. Everest Group cited that clients had particularly emphasized the strategic sourcing and category expertise, domain expertise, pro-activeness and responsiveness.

The procurement landscape is going through a period of rapid change as recently highlighted in McKinsey’s insight into indirect spend in the 2020s. The importance of digitalization, including artificial intelligence and robotic process automation will shift focus of organizations to higher value activities which have specifically been identified by Everest as core differential factors of Chain IQ.

Shirley Hung, Vice President of Everest Group stated: “Chain IQ differentiates its offerings from other PO providers through its clear focus on delivering high-end strategic procurement services, including category management and strategic sourcing, for indirect categories. In 2018, it has strengthened its digital capabilities through investments in its digital innovation lab and has increased its delivery presence in Eastern Europe and APAC. It has also built Smart Joint Sourcing service – an offering for aggregating spend across clients to drive additional cost savings.”
