CEO change at Chain IQ: Marc Schnyder to hand over to Urs Dogwiler
After the successful setup of Chain IQ Marc Schnyder will, as planned, retire at the end of February 2016. In order for Chain IQ to continue to draw from his long-time experience and proven expertise he will be proposed as a new member of the Board at the Annual General Meeting on April 2016. The Board has appointed Urs Dogwiler as his successor as of 1 March 2016.
(Zurich) 19 January 2016: Marc Schnyder has led Chain IQ as CEO since its founding in 2013. Already upon joining it was intended that he would retire at the age of 64. Claudio Cisullo, Chairman of the Board of Chain IQ says: “Marc Schnyder has successfully established Chain IQ in the market and developed it into a reputable service company. Urs Dogwiler brings several years of experience as Global Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) in an international environment. He has an excellent proven track record; in particular in the area of Supply Chain Management. Together with his many years of management experience in complex international organisational structures he brings the ideal prerequisites to further successfully develop Chain IQ.
Urs Dogwiler has led the local Division Power Systems of ABB Switzerland Ltd. since 2014 and at the same time has been responsible since 2009 as CPO for the Supply Chain Management of the global Division Power Systems, which he has successfully established over the last 6 years. He is a member of both the global Power Systems Management Team as well as of the Management Team of ABB Switzerland Ltd.
After graduating in mechanical engineering from the technical University of Switzerland ETH, Dr. Dogwiler received his Ph.D. degree from ETH. He is married and has two daughters.
