Stefano Aversa, based in London, is currently serving as Managing Director, Chair of Europe, Middle East & Africa and Vice-Chair Revenue of AlixPartners, LLP. A talented and highly skilled turnaround expert with more than 30 years of experience, Stefano Aversa works with investors, boards, and managements of industrial companies, developing business plans, driving financial and operational turnarounds, and implementing large-scale performance improvement programs. He joined AlixPartners from A.T. Kearney, where he was global leader of the automotive and aerospace practice.
Stefano Aversa has assisted several global industrial companies through strategic and operational transformations in Europe, North America, and Asia and led more than 100 engagements, including some of the most complex and largest international turnarounds and transformations. He has worked side by side with boards and senior management as an advisor or interim executive to reach consensus with all stakeholders on viable industrial plans and to drive the practical implementations of actions and solutions.
Stefano Aversa has also worked with primary private-equity funds, investment banks, and law firms in critically important situations such as mergers and acquisitions, carve-outs, bankruptcies, litigations, and arbitrations.
Stefano Aversa has an MBA from the University of Turin and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Robotics from the University of Florence, both of them with honors. He is a member of the World Economic Forum, the Clinton Global Initiative, and he is the Chairman of Andrea Bocelli Foundation.
